Have you spent any time with God, today?

"We ought to fly away from earth to heaven as quickly as we can; and to fly away is to become like God, as far as this is possible; and to become like him is to become holy, just, and wise." ~Plato

We all have a "big stone" in our life, blocking us from somethign we want to do. Sometimes it's a physical "stone" - perhaps our age or a responsibility that prohibits us from packing up and livign the active life we want to live.

Sometimes, the "stone" is harder to see...but it's there. It may be anger that prevents you from making amends with someone. Or fear that keeps you from expressing your feeligns or trying to accomplish something.

Who will roll the "stone" back that prevents you from being the person God wants you to be?

It's taken me sometime to realize we were built for God. Just like a fish is made for water. We are drawn toward God because God is our only source of peace, happiness, fulfillment, life, etc... (Everyone seeks God even if they don't use the term "God".)

God is a gift given to you. He's not on a mountaintop and totally apart from your work day. God is right there in the field of your everyday life.

For many years I felt as if I weren't "good enough" to deserve God's love or have a relationship with him. Now I know it's not a task to earn God's presence in my life, or deserve it, or to work for it. All I needed to do was notice God's presence and open up to it. Just take a look around...God is everywhere including within us. Share God's love within you with everyone.

When you realize that this is what God is asking us to do, you discover YOU are the one who moves the "stone"....even when it seems impossible.
