Don't hold on for too long...

"Letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on" Eckhart Tolle

Life will give you whatever experience is most helpful in your own spiritual evolution. You might not agree this is the experience you need but this is the experience you are having at this moment whether you like it or not. Therefore, life has determined it's what you need. Instead of fighting against circumstances, just accept them as so and let go.

Life is hard enough, don't make it harder on yourself.

Ask yourself...

Is it really worth my energy to be upset?
How is focusing on this negative issue going to result into anything positive?

Holding on to bad experiences or situations tends to ruin where you are, right NOW.

I can be stubborn, at times. I'm still in the process of learning how to let things go. I rarely hold a grudge against someone, but I can be quickly angered depending upon the person and the subject. Becoming angry isn't a favorable emotion in my book.

It's been a slow process for me, but I'm alot better than I used to be. I give myself two thumbs-up for the progress. LOL

Last night, I debated with a friend on whether or not there is some truth in kidding. I believe there is some truth in some cases, but other moments people are only kidding to make you laugh or lighten things up or they don't take things so seriously. I'm a serious person, but at the same time, I like picking on people. I like joking around and laughing.I'm so blunt, sometimes I wish my mouth had a filter, I don't need to hide my feelings behind a joke. If I feel a certain way about something, I will tell you, directly.

I'd love to hear everyone else's opinion on the subject.
