Following your dreams let you stay close to your true self. It can be a challenging journey, at times, and some inspiration along the way is the best encouragement to keep you going.

"It’s not about how to achieve your dreams. It’s about how to lead your life. If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you. " Randy Pausch

Living your life the right way can be difficult at times, especially when you're under significant amounts of stress. People tend to get clouded judgement and don't think clearly. I'm guilty of it myself from time to time. We're human and it's guaranteed we're going to make mistakes. Don't allow one mistake to discourage from your dreams or goals in life.

There are many paths we can take, some are easier than others, but we'll ultimately arrive at the same final destination. Make your journey something to remember. Leave your imprint on the world as a standard to inspire someone else to enjoy their journey, as well, and to strive to be the best person instilled within them.

I've encountered many trails and tribulations, along with many triumphs in my life. From my experience, the times life has rewarded me, is when I made the right decisions even in the worst situations.

Take my pregnancy with my son for example, it wasn't at a convenient time nor was I wanting to be a mother at the age of 22 because I had my life planned out another way. I made the right decision with the circumstances placed in my life and now I have a beautiful little boy who reminds me daily of the beauty of life.

To get alittle off topic, last night when I was reading a bedtime story to him, he stopped me and said "Momma, I just love you" and I was like I love you, too, Tre. What makes you say that? He said "because I know how much you love me". I felt like crying. It was so touching.

Your heart knows what is right, listen to it. Making the best decisions in every situation builds good karma. We all know good karma leads to great rewards.

Don't allow yourself to give up. Don't let circumstance take the blame. You can achieve anything you want in life, but you have to work for it. Good decision making doesn't come easy.

After taking many breaks from college, my first class is on Monday. I'm pretty excited about it and I'm actually looking forward to it. I'm positive this baby step in the right direction will give me the push I need to achieve my dreams.

Once you get yourself aligned in the right direction, opportunities will start coming your way, and will ultimately lead you to achieving your goal.

  1. Good luck on your class. It took me 7 1/2 years to graduate so don't feel bad for starting now. I just got my diploma in the mail today, and it's got me excited. It's the only positive thing going on right now. :) Good luck. You'll do great in school. :)
