When one door closes, another opens...

Today is the last day of my 30-Day Vegetarian Challenge. I have the option to eat whatever I choose, but I'm choosing to stick with the Vegetarian life-style. I will be adding fish back into my diet, but I'm debating on eliminating dairy products. We'll see how it goes. For now, I feel like a WINNER! YAY! I made it! It feels great to achieve a goal.

I had my first little league soccer practice last night. It was hectic at first. The weather was yucky and I began to call the parents to cancel practice via the league owner's decision. After my first phone call, the rain stopped, and practice was still a go. There was some confusion over who was on what team, but everything was settled and practice began. I believe I did well. Red-light, Green-light was a hit!

I believe this is my latest challenge for a few reasons.

1. I don't know much about soccer.

2. I've never coached a team.

3. It's a commitment.

My goal is to make sure my team has a great time playing this season. I want them to enjoy coming to practice. I want them to enjoy their games. I want them all to be friends. I want them to learn the fundamentals of soccer. Most importantly, I want them to have FUN!!!

It's my responsibility to make sure the above happens. Wish me luck!

P.S. I'm open to any and all suggestions!

  2. The first thing to do is "whip" them into shape. Run, run, run. Then when they get tired and want to quit, run some more. Discipline, perseverance, dedication, and hard work are the keys to winning......he's how old? Oh. Shana just told me how old Tre is. In that case, the key is SNACKS AND JUICES BOXES!!!
