It's a technique, not paranoia!

Here it is 3:30 in the morning and I'm writing my daily blog.

I woke up early with many things on my mind and my mind started thinking, thinking, thinking, thinking....

I indulged my little brain into the new television series "Lie to Me" last night, and I was completely sold, it's officially my new favorite show. After the show ended, I've come to conclusion, EVERYONE LIES.

The main segment of the show left me teary eyed at the end. Justice had been served. You'll have to watch the show to know what I'm referring to and why.

People are programmed to lie, daily. I, myself, lie daily to telemarketers calling my office. I tell them the person in charge isn't available, he isn't here, he's in a meeting, etc... Now I'm going to change my response to "Sorry, he's not interested, please remove us from your calling list".

People lie for various reasons. They justify their lies with good reasons.
i.e. I only lied to protect this person. I didn't tell you because I was afraid you'd get mad. I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

There is a technique in determining whether someone is being truthful or lying to you. Their body language, their facial expressions, their initial reaction to the situation, the words they use....

My ex-boyfriend used to tell me all the time, everyone lies. I didn't believe him. I thought he was paranoid and over-analyzed situations, but now, I completely agree with him. He told me specific indicators to use to spot when someone was deceiving you a.k.a. lying.

He would accuse me of doing things he knew weren't true, to analyze my reaction, so if/when I lied he'd be able to distinguish the difference in my facial expressions. I'm not sure if someone has an actual "lie face" but I firmly believe you can detect deception by observing people's reactions. The scratching of their nose, clearing of the throat, long pause before they answer, their emotional reaction, etc...

Why would you care to detect deception? I never cared, oh well, they lied to me. I'll get over it. The truth will come out. No big deal.

When your emotions become involved with someone, you have to lookout for yourself. People will use you for whatever they can use you for in life. Who likes being taken advantage of or looking like a fool? I can't think of one person.

For people who don't agree with what I'm saying, here's a verse from the bible for you. I'm sure most Christians are familiar with it.

When it was evening, Jesus reclined at the table with the Twelve. And while they were eating, he said, "Amen, I say to you, one of you will betray me." Deeply distressed at this, they began to say to him one after another, "Sure it is not I, Lord?"
(Matthew 26:20-22)

Everyone was sincere in their inquiries...

Jesus said in reply, "He who has dipped his hand in to the dish with me is the one who will betray me. The Son of Man indeed goes, as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed. It would be better for that man if he had never been born." Then Judas, his betrayer, said in reply, "Surely it is not I, Rabbi?" He answered, "You have said so."
(Matthew 26:23-25)

Do you see, what I see? Everyone asked "Sure it is not I, Lord?" but Judas had already seperated himself from Jesus and referred to him as Rabbi. Earlier in the book of Matthew, Jesus had told his disciples to not use the title "Rabbi" (which means my master). He preferred the title: Lord. That was the first indication of Judas being the one to betray Jesus. Which leads me to believe Jesus responded "You have said so" because Judas had told on himself by his reaction.

If someone will betray and lie to Jesus, it's proof someone will betray and lie to you.

Here's my opinion:

If you have to constantly question someone's character or motives, you don't trust them. If you don't trust someone, whether they're telling the truth or not, it's for a reason. It's probably in your best interest to seperate yourself from these type of individuals.

Trust isn't something you can sit on the side of the road and hand out free samples to strangers to try. Trust is earned.

I was initailly opposed to these tactics due to feeling they were a form of manipulation, but now I believe it's a technique you have to acquire. A skill you can learn. I clearly understand the purpose of it, and I support it. I'm no longer shielded by my ex's presence. I'm having to apply everything I learned from him into my daily life.

Call me CRAZY, but it makes perfect sense to me. Keep your eyes open and watch for the signs.

Speaking of signs, I've been seeing the number 44, everywhere. It means ABSOLUTE.

Here's a little passage from http://www.theetrinitycreation.com/ :

The Number 44 is ABSOLUTE(44) and it is with reference to the Eternal: when that which is Perfect it is indeed Perfect and no change is necessary, that is how it is with the Eternal: Perfection, no change, always is. We should try and live our LIFE(15) in Greater likeness of the Creator, which is the Eternal Life Energy and in so doing we experience the Fullness of Life how it should be and the gates of the Eternal open up to us.

I thought it was pretty neat, considering everything I've been thinking about for the past few days. Numbers are the angels communicating to you. Pay attention, it might help you along your path.
